ok so call it weird but i get excited when i hear a production error like a bad edit or mess up or click bleed or something. it just makes me feel more human and eases when i finish a mix and later on i hear a minor miscue because hey, like i said, we are all human.

- dream theater "awake" - track 10 "scarred" - @8:15 the first upbeat after the downbeat of the guitar solo there is a click bleed or some sort of beep maybe a tape edit or something heard. its hard to pick up headphones help.

- lacuna coil "shallow life" - track 3 "not enough" @ 0:21 on her vocals the tail end of "come baaaaa------k" the "----" indicated what seems to be a bad edit there.

- nickelback "all the right reasons" - track 11 "rock star" if you listen carefully there seem to be a lot of click bleeds in the vocals throughout the song they duck in and out.

- nickelback "dark horse" - track 8 "shakin' hands" - @ 2:42 during the guitar solo as the next part comes in it seems like a really bad drum edit as the cymbal cuts out and jerks ahead

there are more these are the ones off the to of my head and also there was a huge one on deftones white pony but i'll find it later i forgot what song.

lets get a database going it makes me feel good for some strange reason :loco::loco::loco:

ps - oh yeah and i remember hearing about it here but on nevermore TGE the title track in the intro there was click bleed and andy even said himself he didn't care it was a good take. good for him, who cares if the take is good then just leave it no one notices and if they do it just makes it that much more memorable.

some bad auto-tune in Deftones Hole in the earth @1:22 on "explain".
Sloppy mute automation on The Cure's The Figurehead [from Pornography] @4:10 This was done live to tape, but still!
There's a few Bleeding Through songs with vocal overdubs with a lot of audible bleed.
Killswitch Engage - The End of Heartache, there's click bleed in the verses. Album version not the single, which has ride instead of open hat if I recall correctly.

There's a lot of stuff I hear terrible high freq noise on every sample used. Usually on stuff that is crushed to fuck. Bleeding Through are guilty of this too.

This sounds intentional to me... It sounds like he hits a couple different cymbals...

- nickelback "dark horse" - track 8 "shakin' hands" - @ 2:42 during the guitar solo as the next part comes in it seems like a really bad drum edit as the cymbal cuts out and jerks ahead

What I think you're hearing is the rhoads-style organ "chick" sound... its similar to a muted guitar string... in fact, thats what it might be... sounds like funky guitar/organ playing in the back... definitely not a click.

Haven't listened to the others you've listened, but these two are definitely not mess-ups...

dude shakin hands is def a bad edit. i dunno i guess it could be like a weird choke but its a strange type

some bad auto-tune in Deftones Hole in the earth @1:22 on "explain".

I hadn't noticed that one yet, although I haven't really listened to that album very thoroughly. I think there's an even more obvious tuning mess up though, at 0:50 on the song "Cherry Waves" (also at 2:15, which is the exact same held out high note part). Pretty obvious note glitching going on...

This has bugged me for fucking ever - not a production error but a playing error. Nobody else seems to know what the fuck I'm talking about, either!

Dream Theater - Fatal Tragedy @ 2:29. There's an extra kick that doesn't fit at all and isn't done live!

Clicktrack on Nevermore's TGE intro vocals, as well.

Oh, Saosin's Translating the Name EP - Seven Years @ 1:25, bad OH edit, cymbal comes in at wrong time and without attack.

Anyone of you ever noticed for example a drum beat where they hit the snare, hihat and a cymbal at the same time? I did a few times, although I can't remember which records.

haha that kick is pretty annoying, has to be said.

I can't believe I never noticed that "explain" on hole in the earth. Although I think the case maybe that it happened by accident, and they kept it in cus it sounds pretty cool.

God I used to know so many of these but I'm drawing a blank now..

Never noticed that Dream Theater kick bit, but here are two others from DT:

In the Presence of Enemies pt1; as soon as the big chord kicks in there's someone shouting 'go'. May have been intentional?
And at the start of Vacant you can hear drums in the background.
