Cool !! Have you ever seen SX ? They are one of the most "professional" bands I have ever seen. Every time I saw them, Sir Russell Allen sounded like he was lip-synching and Mike Romeo actually sounds better live (tome wise) than on disc. I have never been a HUGE fan of SX, but if you make a greatest hits from them, it's pretty awesome. They did the whole "Odyssee" song one year at PP USA. It was badass !!
Sorry man they never convinced me on the slab. Although Russell Allen have an astounding voice, I need more than that to go to a concert. Think it as the opposite reason why I don't like Accept

Hmmm... I have to agree with you almost 100% and disagree with you 100% too.
There are only about five or six SX songs I really like, but those are really good. I find the band to be talented, but generic and having no personality. Considering their catalog, that is not a good ratio of crappy songs to good ones.
As far as Udo not being a good singer...... When your eyebrows turn grey (since you have no hair) you might like him. I loved Wolf sooo much, I tolerated Udo, then after about 1,662,398 listens, I realized Udo could actually sing. You will learn to appreciate him.
Of course I am joking about UDO. If you don't like him. you don't... The same is true for SX, but if you say Tad Morose sucks I might have to fly over to CR and kick your butt !! Ha ha ha
Have you guys heard Russell Allen's solo album, Atomic Soul? Pretty cool rough-edged hard rock where his gravely voice really gets a chance to shine. Doesn't sound anything like Symphony X.
