found a new obsession in CAMEL! haven´t heard anything else in 4 days, i heard them before, but honestly didn´t pay the attention they deserve, i think they are becoming in short time, one of my favorite bands!! haven´t felt this way when listening music in a long time.

Fuck yeah Camel! Mirage, Moonmadness, The Snow Goose and their self-titled is some of the greatest prog rock out there. Definitely an underrated band compared to some other more popular prog rock acts that I'd consider less than or at least equal to that of Camels greatness.

That is all.

haven´t heard it to be honest, but i think is great that an actual popular metal band awaken the interest in awesome and underrated music to young (and not so) people, i knew about Opeth loving camel since Mikael mentioning them in the Lamentations DVD, and did´t went to hear them back then, just rediscovered them when i decided to hear Rush and King Crimson a few days ago.

Be prepared, you'll think you're listening to opeth here and there.

For me it did got me interested in old school prog like King Crimson and Camel. It's a nice bridge covering a gap.

Camel is fantastic. King Crimson as well, as someone already mentioned. Especially they're mid-70s stuff. Red and Larks Tongues in Aspic are my two favorite old-school prog albums.
