I tried searching and haven´t found any official information on it, and the new album shouldn´t be considered a sign of it, but there are other "clues" that lead to it.
Exhibit A:
He´s almost speaking in some parts.

The setlist to their first US tour show, 0 growls in the whole setlist. Seeing that had me stunned. Now, they did do growled songs in the festivals they played before going to US, but those are short sets and sparce dates, my guess is he really can´t keep growling every day on long headlining sets.
Btw, I hope they change it for the European tour, I´m gonna go see my favorite band for the first time and not hear Demon of The Fall, or Bleak, or Grand Conjuration or fucking ANY of the great songs from their catalogue that feature death vocals?
