programming punk beats

hey guys, im having some trouble when trying to program punk beats. im wondering where the snare and kick hits should go on the grid. or what subdivision of the beat they should go. im looking for a punk beat like in this song... Thanks!

Hi hat and kick on every on beat (1, 2, 3, 4) and snare on all the "and's" and random crash's on the 1 + of every other measure, or wherever you see fit.

Also, put the snare SLIGHTLY ahead of the beat so it feels rushed like a real drummer would do.

EDIT: Actually, in this song the kick is doing a little variation rather than a straight one.
