Project recorded at 48kHz can i mix at 44.1kHz?

So i have 11 songs all recorded at 48kHz & 16bit(or at 44.1 but then imported to the project at 48). I was using a sound blaster card and KX drivers but now the card is dead.
I have a Focusrite Saffire on its way which is cool except ..what does this mean for my project at 48kHz? The Saffire is spec'd as 44.1 & 24bit Can someone explain the options please??

Which Saffire is that? I'm pretty sure they all support 48khz. Even if they didn't, you can resample your files to 44khz.

It is the white vertical standing box just called Focusrite Saffire. But i checked and yes it seems that it supports 48khz so i guess i will be able to finish the project without re-sampling.

Yup, I know someone with that interface and they can use 48k aswel

i ordered it from the UK so i guess its gonna take forever to get here with the postal strikes not having sound card is doing my head in!

I made an order bout two weeks ago from the U.K and it was here with 3 days to Ireland, so I wouldn't be too pessimistic about the delivery times
