Prominy V-Metal

I don't know man, to me it sounds good. I'm a composer and I play like a thousand instruments on my controller but I already know how to play the guitar very well so this wouldn't be useful to me. But definitely seems like an option for those that don't play the guitar. But get prepared for criticism from everyone else here

Damn I just realized that this library is the DI patches so one would have to use amp sims to properly emulate it. I wonder if anyone has jammed around with this using reamping

Yeah but I mean you still have to know how to use reamping or sims to get it to sound good. I really do think midi is the only real option for composers like myself but the fact that I only use midi, with the exception of the guitar which I can play very well, it just shows that it can not replicate a true instrument... but it gives it a damn good run for it's money.

Holy crap. That's incredibly realistic sounding. No need for session musicians anymore... lol
Just kidding of course, but this could be a great tool for writing on the road (assuming you can program it somewhat realistically without having a keyboard.)
Wonder if you can simulate sweeps...

Hahahahaha... Man! This is sweet! :) I'm not the guy who'll say that this is in the same category as having a real guitarist/performance (of course it's not) but I'm glad that when people come up with new ideas, especially when they execute it so damn well!... As others have said, this is definitely great for non-guitar composers and/or producers to try some variations on-the-go...
Man, this thing is going to create quite a buzz in the near future...

I would be hooked on to this -for remembering solos, chord voicings and such- if the instrument is not that CPU/RAM hungry as others..

Check out Javi's Domination cover - pretty damn impressive! I assume the rhythm guitars are Prominy and the leads are Electri6ity.
