This week on the Gooey Kabooie in the album spotlight I'll be playing the album "Acknowlege the confusion master" by Prophecy of Doom.
I don't know a whole lot about these guys. The band is British. The album came out on Deaf records in 1990. Musicly this is pretty good grind, but what really stands out are the vocals. They're compleatly incomprehensible, but not in the typical death/grind way. They sometimes remind me of early Carcass.
It's an interesting record, and you should tune in.
Also on my show this week expect to hear Born Against, Union of Uranus, Spitboy, From ashes rise Lard, Scholastic deth, MDC, and brand new Three inche of blood.
The Gooey Kablooie comes on Tuesday nights from 11:00-2:00 on CHMR 93.5 Fm or on the inter-web at www.mun.ca/munsu/chmr/
