Protools 9 Default Track View and MIDI Cursor

Anyone know if there's a way to set the default track view in Protools 9? This is especially regarding MIDI tracks which come up as "Regions" but I want them in "Notes" by default.

I did Google and couldn't find anything.

Also, while I'm posting, does anyone know if you can configure the MIDI cursor to be the standard highlight type cursor instead of the crosshair? In Protools 7 it was always the highlight type cursor and I can't get used to it the other way around.

I don't think you can make that as default!
I gotta check the manual, but in 7 years of PT I never noticed that!
