Psicosis was formed in 1999 in Venezuela as a project of Mick Demon and Alex warlock after our last band Catastrofe split up, we changed our style from playing Black Death Metal with keyboards to play our actual style that is more like the actual Gothenburg sound, but with less melodies and a more raw edge.
Our band currently is searching for a label to help promote our music, we like to think that we offer something different than the other bands in our country.
Our influences are more from the old school metal bands from the new wave of British heavy metal, the trash metal scene, but we also like more actual bands,of The entire Swedish scene, our tastes are really mixed in the band, that ranges form Death to Black and more alternative oriented bands.
Coming from Venezuela makes playing the style of music we play a lot more difficult, all because the Latin people are very narrow minded when it comes to play Metal, the lack of record labels that support this kind of music is another reason this style of music is so ignored down here so please give our songs a listen and tell us what you think in the guestbook.
