Just finished this, in record time.

I tracked and editted drums, guitarist recorded d.i's for bass and guitars himself with an ux2 i got him.
We reamped those through a shitload of stuff
And vox are a at2020 into a Golden age into the ux2 line in.

Band/bandguru wanted it realy natural, and so we did.

Like the guitars, very JR Ewing. Very raw sound. Ticks all the boxes

Yeah man, eventual guitar mix is a Vox ac30 set pretty clean with a ribbon infront + a marschall jmp a little bit more dirty with a md421N and Sm57 Off axis.

Some pointers:
I would bring down the guitars a bit and bring up the vocals.
The guitars could need a little bit more gain (but if the bands wanted that clean sound, everything is fine)

Nice. Very "The bronx" sounding. The production fits the style. Maybe the kick could use more weight. Other than that, it's great. The song is good too.

Can't do anything more i'm afraid, the cd needs to be sent of allready

And i had kick alittle more louder in my first mix, but the drummer wanted it less punchy and a bit softer in the mix.
Not your most common request haha
