Question about Skinlab "Disembody" package

I bought Skinlab's "Disembody" CD the day of release, and noticed that the spine of the package was devoid of any text. At first, I thought it must have been a bizarre stylistic choice. Later on, I noticed that store copies had the band name/title/catalog# in place on the spine.

I was just wondering what happened, and how many were pressed with the error?

um, the truth is, at first, someone fucked up.
i put all that on there...similar thing with control denied. if you notice
there is no label info, text barcode etc anywhere on it...

I've had people at the print company fuck up my CD designs as well, so I know the frustration! Missing text is bad, but I've had the printer do things from use the wrong spot colors on CD screens, to print vector text as fuzzy bitmap text!

the first control denied printing, on the cd there was no label info or logo, catalog number, copyright info, etc, or barcode.
and if your type comes out like that in printing, it usually means ou didnt include the postscript font file with it
