Question about the meaning of April Ethereal.

I'm a bit frustrated after reading the lyrics to the end of April Ethereal. I'm confused with this lyric "she, laughing and weeping at once said: "take me away."

Is the character dreaming of the woman, or is the woman actually seeing the ghost, or is he recollecting the time he spent with her when he was living? The ghost wouldn't dream, would he, but then again in the Amen Corner he awakes from his sleep.

Ahh anyone have some info? Thanks for any help.

It may be that she is still feeling the loss of him.. I'm not sure, I haven't read the MAYH lyrics for a while but is she actually aware of his ghostly presence by April Ethereal? Being the 2nd song and all.

I always assumed she was kinda just talking to herself.

How sometimes a person will say, "Ugh, help me get through this..." to themselves...but not really to any one person or thing.
