Question about tubes

I have a 5150 II half stack, my first big amp purchase. I still have stock tubes in it, and I was wondering what the best type of tubes to replace them with are.

Russian Sovtek tubes (power amp) sound great in 5150s, Heaps of gain.

I'd say go with the Chinese preamp tubes. Very quiet, high gain and very musical...
