Question for drummers who use triggers

I Myself and not a drummer and do not know much about this, I was wondering if someone could help me out

Im looking to help the drummer for my band get some kick triggers set up on a lower budget, can anyone help me out, like for a module whats the cheapest that will do the job, nothing fancy, just a nice kick sound
