I have a Spector Q5 Pro which currently has stock EMG HZ passives with an active EQ. Now im suspicious if changing these pups would be more hassle than changing some on a guitar.
If you buy 2 40DC's you will get x2 battery connectors, so would that be all I need to get them installed with the 18v job? and what would happen with my "active eq" I guess that would be replaced by what you get included with the new EMG's? Im clueless as far as bass electronics go!
