Hey guys,
So, a buddy called me up and asked me to record sort of a DVD for his band. I dont know if it will really be a DVD, but will at least capture some live footage for youtube and stuff. The band is really simple, has drums, bass and ONE guitar. Despite giving him a price including overdubbing, I noticed he is not really into in doing that and asked if capturing the guitars in stereo (recording his orange and my amp together, miking both) couldn't do that. Well, to be honest I don't know if he could even overdub as he is far from tight.
Well I never tracked two amps live to pan them full L/R. Will this bring me loads of phase problems or it can be OK to do that?
Btw, I will still capture the DIs.
