Same thing... chatting with Daniel Gildenlow in a couple of days. Yes, I know what some of you are thinking... but this will be an awesome interview nonetheless.
Questions?
Since PoS is one of my favorite bands, and Daniel one of my favorite singers and lyricists, here are a few (I'm sure you would already ask a couple of them, but
):
- How's the health? All done with flesh-eating bacteria, I hope? Did that experience change your perspective on being a vegetarian (I seem to remember that he is a vegetarian)?
- What's the next direction for PoS? Back to ProgMetal a la Perfect Element, Remedy Lane, etc? Continuing the retro vibe of the Road Salt duo? Other?
- How was to see "your" band going off to do the Progressive Nation cruise without you? Did you feel different about it before and after the show?
- Do you listen to your own CDs much once they're done and been out for at least a few months? If so, how much, and which one(s) most?
- Taken as a whole, and setting side the usual bias artists have for their newer works, what do you feel is your best/worst work? In other words, if YOU/Daniel were recommending one and only one studio PoS CD to someone and that's the only one they'd ever hear, which one would it be? Which one would you definitely NOT pick?
- Your favorite PoS song lyrically, completely ignoring the music?
- Any chance of getting the ProgPower Remedy Lane set recorded for DVD release?
- What inspired the significant change of style for the Road Salt releases?
- What do you do when not making awesome music? (I'll leave it to Greg as to whether he wants to leave the word "awesome" in there).
Thanks!
Craig
