Quick 10 Second Test

I like it so far, Mix the drums more so that they mesh with the guitars a bit more, it seems a bit boxy. The keys should be mixed in more into the background, and the bass drop is way too noticeable and up front, try mixing it to a lower frequency so its more of a chest rumble. How did you do the bass drop btw? it sounds good!

Just looking for insight as to the guitar tone and drums. Haven't been doing this very long, so go easy. :D Ignore the sloppy playing please, it wasn't intended to be perfect, as my focus right now is writing, however I also want to make sure it's sounding decent as I go along.

Also, double travck the guitars and pan them both left and right, pan the keys down the center and turn the volume down :Saint:

Thanks man, I've been fighting to get a guitar tone that sounds decent for a while, but I'm still trying to figure the little things out. How would I go about mixing the keys into the background? I'm using a program called Nexus for the keys / bass drop. I figured the bass drop would be too noticeable also, I'm trying to figure that one out as well. I will adjust it the best I can.

What I did with the guitars was I had two tracks left and two tracks right, the palm mutes you hear are on one side, and the 'melody' is on the other. I wasn't able to figure out how to get them in both without is sounding crappy.

Yeah I agree, now that I listen again key volume needs to go down substantially. How would I go about panning them down the center? It's just midi processed through nexus with no extra processing done to it.

Thanks again, sorry for my lack of knowledge. haha.
