Quick 27 second Snippet - Drop D Metal

So I posted a song of a band I recorded the other day, but I've been experimenting a whole lot and decided to do a quick recording of myself. Much more proud of this. Really trying to work on my metal guitar tones... I played in a band for a while, but never really played metal, but I'm always recording it... so:

Reamped through my Mark IV/recto cab with a 57 just off the cone, drums are Steven Slate, and bass is direct in. Schecter semi-hollow body guitar. Also, I had a voodoo labs sparkle drive in front of the amp.

Thanks! I actually did a few more tweaks, took some low mids of the guitars, stereo widened them a bit, brightened up the whole mix a little bit and made it a tiny bit louder. http://dl.dropbox.com/u/2208210/MetalSNIP2.mp3
