Quick oppinoins

Hey all. Just lookin for quick opinions on the band I am tracking right now. We are doin vocals this weekend. Just looking for input on tones mostly. Thanks in advance.

that kick is really off but the drums sorta work in a cool way, but he's gonna need to tighten up that playing on the kick, you might wanna mess with some eq on it tho, it sorta sticks out kinda weird

i like the mid sound you got with the drums, i think thats the sound they're going for eh?

i think the guitars could use some warmth

thats about all, hope the vox dont recieve too much verb, yuck

Yea, I agree with Joey. The kick is the thing that's not fitting the mix. For this kind of music & mix (quite organic) I would go with a less clicky and more thumpy kick. Especially with the timing of the kick, the off-parts wouldn't be as noticeable.

yea funny cause a few parts the kick works but for the most part change that and you got a real good foundation!!

Hope the vocals are strong if so you got yourself a hit recording

wow. didnt expect that. Thanks for the input. I always seem to have a problem with the too clicky kick. I did a live recording mix last night and did alot less. Actually reduced the highs. It took me a bit to get used to it but am finding my way
