Sat down today, wrote a riff, and came up with this mix

I've been trying to focus a lot on guitar tone because I still think it's something I still don't feel very confident about. For my guitars I've double tracked and panned hard left and right. The chain is gate - tse 808 - legion - nadir with mesa impulse from the sperimental pack. I sent both to a bus for EQ fixing with basic HPF/LPF and targeting troubled frequencies.

The drums are just a basic beat using the nolly SD2 preset and the bass chain is just compression - tse bod - svt810 impulse - EQ with HPF at 35h. I didn't focus too much on bass or drums on this go.

On the master bus I'm just doing some mix bus compression with the densitymk2, EQ with a HPF at 25h and a highshelf at 8k, and finally limiter.

I know it's not a lot of content, but I've basically stopped writing to focus on mixing. I think this is a step in the right direction, but i'd love to get any sort of constructive feedback on anything.

Thanks in advance!

I got some feedback elsewhere and wanted to try another mix

This time I went with a simpler riff so I could ensure a cleaner recording.
