Hey guys ...
I'm always struggeling with the bass-guitar in my mixes. Somehow it always sounds out of place, spongy and the low-end is jumping around like crazy.
So today I quickly threw together a riff to try out various techniques on the bass and now I'm pretty sure, that it's wrong room-treatment or wrong placement of my monitors, that causes these problems. In my car, on my stereo and via the normal imac-speakers it sounds relatively good. I can hear the top-end of the bass, I can hear the kickdrum pretty good and it definitly sounds more "tidy" in the low-end.
So, what do you think of it? Please don't mind the playing
