quickest way to program click in protools!

I'm working with bands and click tracks seem to be taking for ever manually adjusting tempo and letting the band decide if its right. I remember reading something on here about tap tempo or something in protools. Would it be ideal to let the band play there riff and then just tap tempo it in? I'M not sure exactly how to do this in protools but i need to figure something out.

open the transport bar (ctrl 1 [numpad]/apple 1)
in the tempo indicator click it to highlight the value.
As the band plays the song you can Tap the tempo they are playing at with the T key. it will automatically average out the time for each time you hit the key.
Then you send them the click that way already adjusted to how they play the song, hopefully they will stay constant with it.

+1 one but you need to turn the conductor off first to do this.
and im oretty sure you can do something like this in cubendo.
