Last time I gave up, I replaced ciggarettes with tea. Worked pretty well.
I still have the odd one now and again in a social situation, but compared to how I used to be I'm fine with that.
tea is what's doing it for me at the moment
Only downside is i'm used to having a fag with my cup of tea, especially first thing in the morning, it's how i've been waking up for five years now
Ah well, breaking the habit and everything, Going cold turkey didn't work for shit, but i've cut down from 20 a day to 1 or 2 and feel healthier and better already, mentally and physically. No reason I can't get used to not having as much nicotine in my system then cut it off completely
