I visited the Finntroll forum, and seeing the first thread on the forum was started by Somnium really hit me.

I talked to one of my friends about this, his girlfriend has been in tears the whole day. Teemu was one of her best friends. :( Ah well, I'll expect to hear the details through her at some point.

I'm supposed to see Finntroll 3.4. I still hope it happens, if only for the memory of Somnium.

Whatever happened, giving up makes no sense. I think that music gives all the hope back and the feeling that there is sense in doing anything.

BTW this is from the official Finntroll messageboard:

I'd say they won't split up.
 
well just read at their page:

"Teemu "Somnium" Raimoranta (born 19.5.1977), the guitar player of both Finntroll and Impaled Nazarene, died in Helsinki on Sunday the 16th of March in an alcohol-related falling accident."

fuck... what a way to go :|
 
As it seem Henri and the other guys have a lot of spirit in themselves. They wouldn't abandon Teemu with giving up his music. But of course, the decision is theirs...and everybody should just accept that decision.

Well, we weren´t friends, but we had lot´s of fun. I know ..well knew him from last years festivals season and he was a sarcastic, funny, charming guy and a fucking great guitarplayer.I guess I´ll miss him. And how fucking far from what is meant to be possible is the way he died??

I mean... falling drunken from a bridge in Helsinki... Miten epätodennäköinen... it sounds like one of those unrealistic movies which serves every plate you´re able to have about finns. Paska... paska stupid suomalainen kitarristi... paska! It´s so senseless... Perkele
