R.I.P. Whitney Houston

Can we not just agree that seeing as Ozzy and Keith Richards are still alive, based on Amy Winehouse and Whitney houston's performance, women can't handle their drugs....?

The interwebs is blowing up with Whitney jokes, such as:

Anyone else find it funny how she did all those ads for pepsi then died because of coke?
Looks like Whitney Houston is cool again now that she's just made the transition from mainstream to the underground.
TMZ is reporting that Whitney Houston has officially quit using drugs.
What's Whitney Houston and a spider got in common? They're both black and cant get out of the bath.
Whitney Houston won an impressive six Grammy's in fourteen years. Slightly less impressive was her recent attempt at six grams in fourteen minutes.
Whitney Houston's life was like skiing. Once she got on the white powder its all downhill from there.

There's tons out there. Just an observation.

Wetting myself...

Troll.
Just broken bones, concussions and things like that - normal for every active boy doing stupidly dangerous things on a skateboard and a bicycle.

That makes you different how? I mean, my middle name is practically "Head Trauma" ... also got hit by a truck that shattered my leg, was in a head on collision when I was about 7, spent a month in the hospital with a lung that just kept collapsing ... I'm pretty sure most of us have endured a lot of physical and other pain during the course of reaching adulthood and then some

How did you change this from being about making fun of, I mean talking about WH, into a topic about you?

Thats a bit narcissistic don't you think? Maybe you should have someone psychologically analyze you :p

Exactly... we went through painful situations and it made us strong enough to not be drug/painkiller addicts.

Who said i am different than you ???????????

I said i went through a HEALTHY amount of pain in my childhood - not too little and not too much.

Nothing more.

Not a pissing contest here.

Read my WHOLE post with understanding and relax.

Drummer attacked me personally with his nonsense, so i replied.

Can't i ?

Huh? Plenty of people that go through ordeals do get involved in bad things. Others, don't. Plenty of people that never went through ordeals get involved with bad things. Others...don't. What does one thing have to do with the other? I fail to see any true logic here, other than the motivational poster mentality crap.

I said i went through a HEALTHY amount of pain in my childhood - not too little and not too much.

So....having some amount of pain in your childhood is a healthy and good thing? :loco: That's some pretty warped thinking there.

The same advice could be given to you: read the entire thread, including the jokes...with understanding (they're just jokes!)....and RELAX. :Smug:

Don't you know the old saying "that what doesn't kill you will make you stronger" ?

It is a common knowledge that as you go through life and experience various things, you will get tougher, but if you live a sheltered life and then suddenly something bad happens - you will drown in it.

The same advice could be given to you: read the entire thread, including the jokes...with understanding (they're just jokes!)....and RELAX. :Smug:
Yes i understand the jokes (and i even would laugh if it was about some killer or bloody dictator, not about a good woman who lost her battle with addiction).

I also understand something else that some of you just can't see.

When someone dies you just don't make silly jokes no matter if it is some famous star, your mother, father, or even a politician you hated.

It is dignity, good manners, kindness and other such alien ideas.

Why do i care ? I don't care that much - i just say what i think because i can.

Kind of contradicting yourself in your own statements, aren't you?

"A good woman". How do you know she was a good person? Do you know her personally? (not saying she was or wasn't...I seriously couldn't care less). But...completely beside the point. The point is...and I think it is for others......I really had little or no respect for her while living. Why should I be a hypocrite and change my views because she died? Dying doesn't give you a free pass.

Everything

Well i am not a saint hehehehe i don't respect killers and bloody dictators like Hitler, Stalin, and Hussein (bring on all your jokes about their deaths) ;)

In my book a good woman = at least never killed, raped, abused anyone.

The point is...and I think it is for others......I really had little or no respect for her while living. Why should I be a hypocrite and change my views because she died? Dying doesn't give you a free pass.

And having no respect for a stranger is a good thing or a bad thing ?

Would you rather live in a society that gives you some basic respect just because you are a human being or in a society that doesn't give a shit about you ?

How is this different than anyone else around here?

Not different at all, we are just on the opposite sides of a good and mostly civilized argument.

You think i am wrong for respecting someones death and i think you are wrong for disrespecting someones death.

I am not your enemy, i actually think that you are good people and some of you argue just to argue and don't really believe in what you are saying.

Oh and as you can see i have PLENTY of time :D

seriously dude ... you're like a yappy dog

you should spend less time on this topic and more on scoring some hot polish ass. Respect some living pussy that you're up in and you'll be less concerned about whitney

You truly are like a living, walking motivational poster, aren't you? ;) If that helps you get through things...that's great (I guess). However, not everyone shares that "rose-colored glasses" mentality...nor wants to.

...Respect some living pussy that you're up in and you'll be less concerned about whitney
  My second good laugh for the day.
