Winter has hit, and since I live in a temperate rainforest. It's now time for it to rain 27/30 days in a month for the next 3 months or so. So i'm looking for good music for the rain...

Current Favourites:
Skepticism - Stormcrowfleet
Svartkraft - Den Onda Pesten
Ruins of Beverast - Unlock the Shrine
Any Velvet Caccoon
Burzum - Aske/HVLTO

That Ruins of Beverast kicks arse. Haven't tried it during the rain though.

Agalloch - The Mantle
Drudkh - Autumn Aurora
Woods of Ypres - anything

Rain music is almost everything actually, since perception of music whatsoever is enhanced by grim weather, I find. I don't know, yesterday I listened to The Arcade Fire while watching the raindrops splashing on my window and it was pretty ok in a cool digging way.

I could be more specific if we talked sunset music or night music. Any good trip-hop is best by sunset. Albums that work best between midnight and 4 am include Monolithe - I, Negura Bunget - 'N Crugu Bradului, the two latest Lunar Aurora or obviously any Bohren & der Club of Gore.

Geliebte des Regens (Manchmal wenn Sie schläft is fucking incredible, both musically and lyrically)

Brave Murder Day

and to a much lesser extent: My Arms, Your Hearse
