Rammstein - Rosenrot,

Helghast

Coffin Fodder
Released at the end of October this year, Rosenrot is not one of Rammsteins heaviest albums but it's still pretty decent. Much more haunting than agressive. It's more on par with the likes of their first and second albums, Herzelied and Sehncuscht, than the much more agressive third, Mutter. The band more or less threw everything on that didn't make it onto the previous fourth album, Reise Reise. Simplistically, it comes across to me as a German version of Slipknot.

Although there are one or two heavy tracks on the CD I wouldn't recommend it to anyone who didn't like the band. It's not really that different from the rest of their music.

All in all, 7/10, if I didn't like the band then maybe a 5 or 6.

7 out of 10 is kinda low, its a great rammstein album. if you knew two cents about them you would also know that their intentions in each album is evolution of sound, and SOUNDS LIKE GERMAN SLIPKNOT?!??! wtf, hell no. end of story

German Slipknot? As Achilles said, um no. Rosenrot is flawless. Just like everything Rammstein have done. 10/10 (Yeah, I know. I'm a fanboy.)

It's a solid album and a jewel in my collection. Only tarnish on the album is track 6 "Stirb Nicht Vor Mir", which is absolute crap. Best songs are "Benzin", "Zerstoren", and "Hilf Mir".
