Hey guys... I just bought an Rode NT1-A because I remember using it before and really liking the sound. I meant to include my SM58 but it's at our rehearsal place so I can't. 
Anyways here are a few cheapo mic possibilities for you to try out. This is the way I test mics. [PISS - SHIT - pop singing - screamo] I hope this shows how these mics perform.
The mics are:
Blue Encore 200
Blue Encore 200 without the cup but a popfilter instead
Rode NT1-A
The t.Bone SC-450
