now that i've heard the new songs i thought i'd share some ideas that have poppd up in my head during multiple listens.

superhero - awesome groove and cool ass lyrics.

refuse to be denied - you're with me or you're under my fucking heel

safe home - i'd say this is the most "emotional" song of the bunch. makes me think of my wife.

strap it on - sounds like it could have been written by kiss 20 years ago and covered by anthrax today. this is not a bad thing, mind you.

black dahlia - dimmu borgir + anthrax=a bad ass song

cadillac rock box - growing on me every day. very addictive groove.

taking the music back - should have been the album title.

think about an end - next to harm's way this is my absolute favorite anthrax song lyrics wise. "your god is dead or doesn'
t care. tell me which one's worse."

we've come for you all - appropriately titled

so far i'm extremely happy with the new stuff. it was worth the wait.

all i got 2 say is metallica ruled back in the day but anthrax has dethroned them since bush has joined the band.exactly what anthrax needed.vocals are awesome, music is great & the drumming is what lars only can dream of doing.

This album should be the Bush era album that is not only the one that appeals most to "metal" type fans, but will also have appeal to more commercial type "rock" fans. That is a testament to Charlies song writing more than anything. Megadeth tried this successfully, but Charlies songs are much better thru and thru. Metallica also did it, but it was more blatant commercialism. Charlies songs aren't appealing because he writes them for radio, but the grooves, the riffs, the melodies, and the hooks are so catchy, if this album gets hear, people will buy it. This album should stand toe to toe with SoWN in terms of mass and critical appeal. Stomp, although a sleek production, was too fast and furious for it's day (aside from "Fueled," "Nothing," and "Bare) and Vol. 8 just had to much filler and to much stuff that was just 'out there.' We've Come For You All is the complete Anthrax experience.

But still, everything is a matter of publicity. The songs are great and very memorable, but if the company doesn't push them the outcome is pretty much the same as with the last two albums. But I still believe the situation in Europe is gonna be better. Even though Nuclear Blast is pretty much known as an "extreme" metal label.

I hope these songs get heard outside of the diehard fanbase. So far, from what I have heard, this could be there best, ever!

And I have to say SOWN was always my fave, with Vol. 8 coming in behind.

The production sounds great. Man , am I glad for that!!!

Lets hope they get some decent publicity & this album gets heard! It is so much better than the crap that is out there!!!

MOSH!
