Rare Opeth stuff I put up on Ebay!

what price did the BWP poster go for???
I bid 40.50 dollars, but my internet connection was fuckinh with me yesterday....so I couldn't bid during the last few hours....FUCKING HELL!! I wanted that one!!!!!!!!!!!

Yes, I'm quite surprised how much some of that stuff went for. The flag....insane! Still, it's rare shit and it won't be that easy to find again. Actually, I noticed that I don't even have a flag for myself now. That was my own copy.

As for that interview. Indeed a splendid read although childish and immature. I loved (still do in a way) having a go at different things back then, and it was very fashinable being satanic, I guess that was my stint with it all. I wish I could find my "pose infront of a Bathory poster looking evil" photos too!
I won't sell rehearsals altho' I have all of them still.

"I was drunk at the pulpit!"
Cheers
Mike

I'm not sure about the price the poster finally got (around $42 maybe?); nightsilentwater got the deliverance radio edit for 35 if I'm not mistaken and you know the story behind the bloodbath lp and especially the flag...

Unless of course you wanna keep them exclusive and private, hehe.

haha what embarassing material could lie within?!

Mike: "So I hear that Whitney Houston song 'I Will Always Love You' is doing well in the states. I love those vocals!" <hums the chorus>

<rest of band glares, speechless>

Mike: "er...........Hey let's do Apostle again"

Haha, or we could find out that the melodies on Orchid are a culmination of stolen ones from various pop songs throughout the years o_O

I should really buy more Opeth items.

So far, I only have Lamentations, and Damnation.

Next album: Still Life, followed by either Morningrise or Blackwater Park.

^_^

haha! dorian gets a response from mike by making fun of him. yay!

seriously, does anyone know if there was something special about that flag? i wonder if the price was so over the top. i have an original Nazi flag my grandpa picked up in WW2. yeah, you can get a nazi flag at your local costume store, but is it the same thing? fuck no. so, is the opeth flag like that? maybe it was one of the first ones printed or something? just curious.

Burn the damn thing i say (and i am from germany...i think i have to know that^^). But no.......except it will be send by Mikael. Perhaps the buyer ask him to wear it, being naked, for a whole day......dunno ^^

^ A friend of mine bought this flag at a gig from the BWP tour for €10,-

He isn't a big fan or anything and he doesn't hang out at these forums so.....I'm gonna try and buy it for, let's say...... €10,-

I still want this BWP poster!

about the porcupine tree items sold for 1200 & 700 $$$... there's a line which says: "Please note that all money received for this item will be donated to the British Red Cross for the asian earthquake appeal. So bid generously!"

I believe this answers your question. It belonged to him.
\m/ :kickass:
