The snare sound is based basically in two effects: compression and reverb.

First, I use the compressor with this aproximated setting:
Threshold: -25
Ratio: 2.5:1
Attack: 25 ms.
Release: 500 ms.

Then, I use the reverb. I use Rverb form Waves. I tweaked a bit with the preset called "empty garage". It is easy to obtain a natural sounding reverb with this preset or any other with this plugin.

I think that doing this it's easy to get a very close sound to the mine and it is usable with any othe snare samples. The slynare samples is in the FTP in this forum.

Synths are from Native Instruments Massive, preset called "Sync Driver".

Ehi dude..the synths are amazing..can u help me please??you did the synth with midi,right?and how do you work with this track?did u do some post processing?eq or other vst for put the synths in the mix?
