Hi,

I wonder what the experts here think about my mix.
It's my own band on myspace.

I like the mix although it was only a demo.
But there is an annoying compression effect (i don't tell what it is, maybe you can hear it). The original waves do sound good.

Hey dude, yeh Myspace does this FUCKED UP compressiony shitty thing!
Overall I think it sounds great, I do think the vocals and lead guitars are a bit loud, but thats just me!

You're right. The snare is suboptimal.
It was a demo recording, we only want to record our three new songs.
The drummer spend 3 hours with tuning, adjusting etc. but then I decided to record it and trigger them later.
During Mix I decided not to trigger the snare but I used a chain of 5 or more FX. (EQ, transient designer, SPL Charisma, Comp, Multicomp - don't remember what exactly) So it got not really good but aceptable, I think.

The guitars were Gibson Heritage/ESP LTD in B-Tuning, Sansamp PSA-1, Samson 200W Transistor Poweramp, Engl 4x12" with vintage celestion V30.
