I did find it odd that an album which made it all the way through to the last 4 got beat by quite so much. And it is a damn good album too.

You know, I always say how much I love The Mantle, and I do, don't get me wrong, but I'd only play it on certain occasions whereas Verisakeet is ALWAYS good with me. If I listen to The Mantle in the wrong mood, it can drag a bit tbh (Pale Folklore NEVER does this). I did vote for it though...

I couldn't even vote it was so close. But no way does "The Mantle" deserve to be in the final two -- that's just RC forum knee-jerk voting reactions.

It sure as hell deserves it more than "Panopticon", though And no, I'm not saying this because I'm an Agalloch fanboy; as I don't really like Agalloch either.
