A different one here.......

Situation:

My band is gonna record later this year, will re-amp (Radial set).
We were gonna record the dry signal for reamping and a POD signal for monitoring.
But the POD has a different kinda feel as my Diezel VH4.

So this is what i thought:

No POD, but the Diezel + cabinet (miked) at low volume. Preamp high, master low.

Here it comes.... I wanna record the preamp signal (send) of the Diezel thru the Radial DI into the computer.
In the studio i will reamp the signal to the Radial to the poweramp (return) of the Diezel.

Could this work? A I missing something here?:ill:

May I ask why you want to do this?
In situations like this I´d suggest using a signal-splitter.
So you split your guitar-signal in A and B and run A through your amp to have the right feeling und run B through the
DI to re-amp with that signal later.

Thats fast!!

I didn't think of that. :loco:
You are so right. With the dry signal i can also reamp different amp, we also have a 5150 and a Mesa Mark VI.

The Radial has a "thru", so i dont need a splitter.

Thanx for straighten me out:headbang:
