After exporting as MP3s and posting my myspace standalone player I have realized a few changes that need to be made on the high end frequency of the kick.
What other suggestions do you guys have about levals, eqs or compression?
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
8 mics on the drums, nothing worth writing about.
Guitar left: Boss GT8 distortion modeling warmed up and amplified with an older peavy tube head miked with a 57 close range.
Guitar right: Line-6 Vetta II head direct line out through XLR (2) into a 2 channel DBX 31 band eq.
Bass: DI into DBX 31 band eqq
Vox: 1 berringer condencer with pop filter (1 foot away in front) and 1 sm57 (8 inches away pointed at cheek). each ran into DBX 31 band eq for high and low pass filters.
Recorded through a personus FP10. Mixed in Cubase SX3, mastered with Isotope.
