This is something that's been bothering me for some time now.

Any time I slide a fader, pan, or move automation envelope, I can't seem to get it to move in increments of 1.0 or even less.

Ex: guitar track, pan control CENTER, I want to fade say, 50% left, but it moves in weird increments of like 3%.

Hope this makes sense. I thought there was a way to hold SHIT + click and drag, but I tried and tried and can't figure it out.

make the envelop track bigger and you will have more control. ctl+D hides the mixer so you can make it as big as your screen. although i never worry about precision panning :p

also i dont think panning can go lower than 1.0 increments

Yeah I recently discovered that you can just click the edge of the envelope track and stretch it rather than clicking the little '+' button a bunch of times only to have the envelope move out of view. I guess I could stretch the mixer. I'm weird....if the mixer is hidden, it bothers me for some reason. :retarded:

Panning isn't exactly my issue. It's more for very slight volume fader adjustments or automation envelope.

Thanks for the input though!

OH! Just figured out what I was talking about.

Hold CTRL + click and drag OR scroll mouse up/down while the mouse is hovered over the tracks fader. Let's you fine tune by 0.01 of a dB.

I think I was trying ALT or SHIFT before.
