reaper automation / envelope point moving

Hey guys

quick question, i have a song that i've been working on where ive used volume envelopes on several different tracks and folders. The problem i have is that now i have changed the intro and i need to move the whole project forward a few seconds.

When i select all and drag across all the tracks move, but not the envelope points.

Does anyone know how to move the envelope points, especially the ones on the folders that dont contain actual individual wav's, but mixes from different tracks?

make a time selection of the time in which you want to move the envelopes, right click on one envelope point, select all points in time selection, hold ctrl and alt (to prevent up/down movement, click and drag.

Enable the option in "Ooptions>Move envelope points with media items", should help!

hey guys, cheers for the advice!

i had that option set, but unfortunately it doesnt move the envelope points on a folder. but the select all points and ctrl alt click worked sweet

Something you could try for folders, just insert an empty media item the length of the whole project and the envelope points should attach to that! The other way might be faster though!

Cheers adam, that might be an easier way to do it, with less chance of moving the points accidently.
