Reaper Paralell compresision issue

hey guys

im currently having an issue with reaper where i send my drums to a group/buss then send them off to a compressor which is obviously parallel however its phasing and i dont know why :/ never had this issue in logic

so i dont know how to proceed :/

Not too familiar with Reaper but it sounds like there's latency on one of the signals. If you can do so in Reaper, add a sample delay plugin to one and move the delay until they seem to match up phase

i was sending them pre-fx i changed it to post and it worked fine

Check in your effects VST preferences for processing delay compensation. Possibly pre-effects negates its ability to delay compensate. Weird.
