QFT x 2. Good riddance to Matos (sorry Milt). While I appreciate the music on Holy Land, the vocals are the worst thing about that disc. He doesn't ruin the music for me, he's just the weakest link.
No problems. Believe me, as much as I idolize Matos, I love Angra with Edu as well. It's got a different feeling to it. ToS is their masterpiece without a doubt, but Holy Land is a close second.
The thing with Rebirth is that the band (at least the new members) at the time, hadn't had a big chance to demonstrate their own style and personality. You can definitely tell the difference when you listen to ToS though, especially on Edu's vocals.
The next album will kick some major ass.
Agreed. This disc did nothing for me.As long as the go back to the ToS and Rebirth kinda sound and stay away from what they did on Aurora Consurgens, which only had like 4 really good songs.

Temple... is best, but I wish Dennis Ward had guided Edu a bit as his accent is way too strong.
And for those of you unfamiliar with Matos' solo discs (Lucas, WTF??), they both rule!

Lucas really should take advantage of the "Change Forum Name" feature. He hasn't cared about Angra in about 10 years.
Only one of the Angras shall remain standing around here.![]()

Lucas should change his ears instead![]()
I can't stand Matos-era Angra, so Rebirth is really my first Angra CD I liked. ToS is awesome, but I feel Rebirth is superior.

AngraROCKS is still my favorite![]()

Yeah yeah yeah. He didn't take you to Fogo de Chao, you douche.
Now you go and try to make out with him next time when you're drunk.
