Black metal from france. These guys can build up an incredible atmosphere without getting bogged down in to many synths.

i dont mind this
though i hate the "let's ALWAYS AND FOREVER play single-note tremolo-picked melody lines on the left guitar while doing chords on the right one" approach
it creates a pretty skewed stereo balance AND ALSO every single good single-note tremolo-picked melody line has already been done, and it's boring as shit, and it makes you sound swedish*
it would benefit from some more intricate guitar work is what im saying
but i don't mind this
* this is not generally desirable when playing black metal. in every other context, being swedish is quite alright
