Yeah yeah, shut up.

Just being super open minded lately and want to expand my horizons.

Not even sure which genres are out there, but I'd prefer some interesting/ambient/whatever-the-fuck-you-call-it stuff.

Fag

Sorry, that one was just irresistible :heh:

Anyway, probably not quite what you initially had in mind, but Depeche Mode's Violator fucking rules (assuming you're not already familiar with it)

Haha no worries, I expected that.

I shall check it out!

Dude, don't think of all electronic music as a joke. Some of it is so hard to make you will be scratching your head for years.

I like Skinny Puppy, old and new. Each album they put out is so different from the last. A lot of the stuff they do I can't figure out for nothing. I wish I could. :erk:

They basically do every style out there. NO limits.

I definitely don't dude! I'm very open to most music and have no doubt some of this is hard to make. Melody is melody and you need a particular vibe in any song IMO.

I got over my close minded "only metuuuulz" attitude a long time ago.

I'll check it out, cheers.

I really dig Bassnectar a lot. Check out Shpongle or Infected Mushroom too if you like very psychedelic/tribal electronic music.

You go girl!

No really, that's a good attitude to have.

Shpongle - any of their albums
Hallucinogen - any of his albums (1/2 of Shpongle, basically revolutionized psytrance in the uk)
Ott - any (produced Hallucinogen's "In Dub" record as well)
Younger Brother - A Flock of Bleeps (once again, Simon P from Hallucinogen/Shpongle, as well as Benji from Prometheus)
Infected Mushroom - The Gathering
Aphex Twin - Selected Ambient Works Vol I and II

Forget all the modern shit.
Old analog synth sound is where it's at.
