hey guys,

i am using CUBASE 5 to record and mix my songs.
the internal plugins are good but often they don't fit my needs.

what i need:

-multiband compressor
-saturation
-limiter
-transient designer tool
-crasy stuff for crazy effects

they should work on 64bit sequencers!!!

any suggestions!?

cheers
S.

thanks for the tips guys!:)

Voxengo Elephant looks interesting, i'll checked that one out, need money!:D
Compadre Beatpuncher, just downloaded the demo, installing...
TesslaSE...i love bootsy's density plugin, i'll check that one out!

any further suggestions!?

cheers

I know you didn't list anything for compression, BUT, at least as far as drums go, PSP's oldTimer is THE BEST FUCKING ITB COMPRESSOR that I've ever used.

I'm prepping some drum sounds/performances for the EP I've got coming up and NOTHING I tried got even close to the oldTimer. All my other ITB plugs do some really gay/weird shit to the transients of my drums, making them too splatty or rounding the attack to much.

oldTimer is the first ITB comp. that can actually hold things back dynamically in a mix without ruining your transients.

YAY! =D

@kladdkaka
thanks for the tip! unfortunately 400€ is really alittle to pricey:(

@SigmundFreud33
just downloaded the demo...read about it in another forum...a lot of "best compressor ever" reviews.
if i buy it, can i use the 32 and 64 bit versions at once!?

@nwright
i've been around this site for years now, there are a lot of cool
plugins available but most of them are just for playing around. haven't found something really good yet.

preliminary result:
-voxengo elephant (need to wait for money, 20 days to go!:D)

cheers

thanks, i'll check that out! :)

about the PSP Oldtimer... installed the demo but for some reason the plugin is kinda bypassed.
no matter which settings i chooseset, i just can't hear a change in sound...
