Mine is dead after 5 months...
Not mine, nor my friend's that got one shortly after I did - he loves using it to program all the songs he writes for his band. Also, the nanoKEY that I got for xmas is still working fine too.
for basic's in cubase i just use the virtual keyboard (Alt K), which turns your keyboard into a midi pad

I use a korg padKontrol and I'm pretty happy with it
pad control is a good one.

i ordered a korg nanopad myself a while ago, but had to return it... lots of mistriggering and some pads weren't playable at all.

I was thinking about getting a nanopad or nanokey these days, but the ammount of these broken for sale on the internet made me give up.

i like mine too, but have noticed that on one of the pads, it won't trigger when i try to do really fast double kicks on it
of course i can always use another pad...but i want to use THAT one
Can you do fast double kick in the same pad? Like a real kick with 2 beaters

Finally I've got my Nanopad. It works very well, for 50 it worths the price. Sometimes for double kick, well, double finger is hard to record all the beats, but enough for my purpose.
Only one problem, there is some millisecond delay. Notes are a bit displaced I can see and hear it. No problem if quantizing 1/8, but 1/16 it quantizes at the wrong grid.
Any tip to avoid this delay?
