Not sure where to post this, but I seem to enjoy Ministry's Land of Rape and Honey better than any other album (with the exception of In case you forgot to show up, which doesn't count). Nine Inch Nail's Pretty Hate Machine is also easily my favorite album by them. The cheesy 80's techno sound on those albums are much better than their inferior attempts at sounding heavier on the later albums.
Anyways, I mostly listen to death metal and will admit that I am a little limited in my range of preferred genres...but music like Pretty Hate Machine and Land of Rape and Honey is a refreshing change of pace on occasion. Any suggestions for other bands/ albums to check out that have a similar sound? In case the two bands I mentioned are any indication, I haven't listened too much to that type of music...
