This is a very annoying thing.
When I select a track it is automatically armed for recording and any track I had armed is now "un-armed"
This is unbelivably annoying when Im recording. Especially acoustic guitars where I use three mics and must have three tracks armed.
Everytime I wanna select another track to edit something I have to re-arm the three tracks again.

What I want is that a track I arm stay armed until I "un-arm" it myself.

I cant find anything in the menus that can change this.

Any help?? :)

You'll go to File->Preferences

Under the "Editing" subcategory, there should be another category called "Project & Mixer". Click it, and then uncheck the box that says "Enable Record on Selected Track".

I thought this was VERY annoying at first as well.

Im pretty sure all this kind of stuff is explained in the manual there is even a search option so you can quickly find the information you need.

I tried every search word I could think of but I couldnt find it.
I do admit I dont have much patience with help files and manuals. Its a disease I think...
