Recordings acoustic guitars?

Hello!

I was wondering that you of all people could help me with advices how to get good sound for nylon string acoustics? The first demo/promo was recorded with AKG c3000 and c1000, but these days I only have c3000, so is there any way to get desent sound with that single mic? Also, what plugins and setups should I use?

I use the C1000, decent mic for the money. In general its best to mike within 10 inchs of where the fretboard terminates into the soundhole imo.

Try putting it about 10 inches above the 12th fret facing in the direction of the "hole", that usually gives it a nice mix between body and string sound
