From Redemption's MySpace:

"I'm very pleased to report that the first of hopefully a few stretches of live shows both in the US and Europe (if things come together as we hope) are ready to announce.

Redemption will headline the world famous Whiskey-a-Gogo on Los Angeles' renowned Sunset Strip on February 4th, 2010. Tickets are on sale now and are a paltry $16! We will be playing in Mesa, a suburb of Phoenix, Arizona, on February 5th, also headlining. Exact venue details will be announced here as soon as they are available. We hope to play a third date in February in Northern California, but no date has been set.

These will in all likelihood be the only headlining shows we play in the states in 2010, so they will feature our longest set times of any domestic performance next year. We are extremely excited to get out and play for you all, and to showcase some of our new CD, Snowfall On Judgment Day.

More news as it becomes available. And thank you, as always, for your interest and support!"

Also taken from Blabbermouth.net:

REDEMPTION will join PRIMAL FEAR for a few shows on the German power metal band's May - June 2010 U.S. tour which will be announced shortly.

Don't think so. BB Kings was what I was thinking as well.

Zod
Or the Grammercy? Irving Plaza? Anyway, good news for Redemption and those lucky enough to be able to catch those headlining shows. I'll be sure to catch them with Primal Fear if they play anywhere in the vicinity of NYC. How about the Stone Pony? :p

Just bought my tickets for the So Cal performance!!

I'm glad the tickets were only 16 dollars. That means they're only about 25$ post-ticketmaster!

I am hoping for a return to ProgPower one of these years. I am into them so much more now than I was when they played here both times.

Can't say I'm THAT surprised that they're only doing the couple of California dates on the Primal Fear tour. I was a bit of a fool for getting my hopes up about this. I talked to Sean the other day and he said it's possible they're going to be doing more dates, possibly coming east eventually, but it's all just in the thought/planning stage. Here's to hoping for the continued recovery of NVD and the continued popularity increase of this amazing band!
