Since they hullabulloo is about the reunion. How about some remasters to go along with it? If Among the Living on CD sounded any worse I'd have to get it on cassette instead.

I think they should remaster FFOM to Among. SOE and POT have a good clear heavy sound. It just the early albums that have a thin sound. Among some of the heaviest riff out there imagine if it was reamstered. It would be brutal.

id like to hear the GOTE equivalent with joey doing bush's shit. then we'll see who the better singer is...

I would love to get better mixes of ATL, STD and SOE for sure ... SOE suffered from such low volume levels - I always have to crank that album up so loud just to hear anything decent.

Speaking of Reissues - I am looking at the Megadeth ones - are they any good?

Do you guys remember the Bring the Noise single? The B side was I am The Law remixed by Thompson and Barbiero (Persistence..) and it sounds heavier and cleaner than the ATL version. It would be great to hear the whole record that way.

Having said that... we should stop encouraging the band to go over their back catalogue. They're spending an awful lot of time polishing the old stuff recently (MOMD, GOTE, Reunion). We should be begging for NEW STUFF.

C'mon lads, back in the studio, off you go, shoo, shoo

(and take Frankie with you!)

What is wrong with wanting better sounding remastered versions of their old albums? If Among sounded any worse on cd....And going out and trying to find a copy on vinyl is a bit stupid as I am sure it is damn near impossible to find a pristine copy.

Remastering is important because the originals were mastered for vinyl and cassette not for a digital medium. Think about it. It's not like I'm encouraging the band to redo their old albums. I would just like to hear them sound better than the recorded in a tin can cd versions that are available.

NO REMASTERS!

Well, if it has to be done which I guess it does seeing as Anthrax like the colour green so much atleast get a competant producer ie NOT Dave Mustaine.

If Anthrax remasters were as bad as the Megadeth ones I'd have to kill anyone and everyone who bought copies.
